These seeds aren't necessarily the best to eat due to how quickly they sprout and may need to be eaten once they grow. Seeds not growing in the first 6 months after planting are best to avoid. Seeds that are already quite flowery or over developed or with poor flower quality may be good choices for someone who is growing too much, to reduce stress on the plant. Also, it looks better if you can grow these plants in clusters where all are under 30 inches high. Although they are not very common within a typical family, you should not underestimate the beauty of these plants.

The seeds have a very sticky growth, but after the first 10-17 days after the crop starts they feel tender and will grow out more slowly than normal or even grow with an unusual number of seedlings. This means the seedlings tend to turn red or get browned after the first few days and can be very dangerous to one or both of the plants. The new plants are usually smaller and will not bloom.

These photos are taken after the crop has started and have been well watered, and they are still very dry.

The seeds require about a week to grow but, if you can tolerate them in some locations they are extremely good
